The Fine Print

Welcome to the fine print.

Just kidding...

There really isn't any fine print. I just wanted to make sure that everyone understands the nature of this research without actually gumming up the main page with explanations.

The TCRC is not actually funding, sponsoring or running any of these research activities. We are cooperating with a few selected medical professionals to help them find people appropriate for their research. In the case of this study, we are helping out researchers at the University of Southern California, the National Cancer Institute or the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania.

Since testicular cancer is relatively rare, it takes a lot of effort for researchers outside of places like Indiana and Sloan Kettering to even find people eligible for their research. We have found that using the internet and the TCRC allows them to collect information and contact eligible participants much faster than the usual methods would allow.

I sincerely hope that you will help out and participate if you can. It is your chance to become a part of the cure!
